6 months since an update... Not much of an update either. Anyway, I haven't updated for two reasons: First, there really aren't anymore 82/85 ASM programs out there to test. And second, neither Bill Nagel of AShell or Matt Shepcar of Rascall have decided to update their shells, thus, I have nothing new to test with, and possibly, this site has reached it's highest point. Rumors of new interesting GUI shells with 83ASM support are spreading, and screenshots have been posted... But a ticalc.org discussion showed it was just a guy with ideas and some drawings, asking others to write the program. In other words, don't expect it to come out in the near future..
Anyway, for those asking about 3D Viewer, sorry, I fixed the problem. For some reason, Geocities must've deleted my 3DViewer.zip file thus forcing you all to go to ticalc.org and download the 3D Viewer from there. Well, it just so happens the version I had on my website (and on my calculator) was version 1.0, which works fine on TI-86's with rom 1.2, 1.3, and 1.6. Have not tested with 1.4 and 1.5, but they should work without a problem. However, the version on ticalc.org was version 1.5, and several people emailed me saying it did not work on the 86. I have not tested this yet with my own 86 (rom 1.2), but I'm not expecting it to work.
My cousin recently gave me his TI-82 (rom 19.0), so perhaps now I can test for some discrepancies between the 86's emulation of 82 programs. Oh, and ZTetris for the 82 can play against 83, 85, and 86! They can't send files but they can play tetris! Holy cow! :)
If you're wondering why on earth I decided to just come over and update this, was because I all of a sudden began receiving email about this site. If there's anything that I can do to help (in regards to the TI-86), email me. If there's an 85/82 ASM program out there that you're unsure of working, and is not listed on my site, let me know and I will test it and report the results to you (as well as including it on the site).
